Message From Our Director Eagle's Aerie Schools is in the process of changing to a Private School and will be beginning classes for the 2010-2011 School Year. The Gilbert Arizona Campus was being sold to The American Leadership Academy, however, their funding issues have made it impossible to complete the sale of the Gilbert Campus. At Eagle's Aerie Schools we get back to the basics, because the basics have never been more important than they are right now! The Gilbert Campus of Eagle's Aerie School will be an independent tuition based private school, serving approximately 50 to 200 students and their families in a tranquil, secure, and more rural agricultural campus setting. Heritage Preparatory Schools Inc. established Eagle's Aerie School in 1997 as an independent, tuition-free K-12 Public Charter School established as a model for the charter school movement in school reform. We continued to stir interest by combining traditional concepts of instruction and discipline with modern technology and a contemporary understanding of childhood learning processes - all in an atmosphere of concern, positiveness, and personal attention. It has always been our goal to become a lower tuition private school. With the current failure of the sale of the school property, and with the grace of God, we are being allowed to see that goal come to fruition. Many schools today aim at a minimum level of student competence, but the goal of Eagle's Aerie School's instruction remains personal mastery. Eagle's Aerie Schools does not back away in the least from high expectations of our students. Our dress and behavior standards are higher than most other schools. These standards have helped to create a great positive atmosphere and a safer environment. Parents bring their students to Eagle's Aerie Schools and students want to come here because it is a positive place where they have clearly defined limits and expectations. It is a peaceful place in which to learn great lessons from the Classics in reading, from great thinkers of the world, and from one of the greatest teachers of all, natural law that acknowledges God and his hand in the formation and continuation of United States History, as did the Founding Fathers of America.
