May 29th, 2009 . by Mrs. Polakoff

I can’t believe that none of my prom pictures turned out. None of them! Thank you Brittany Strang for organizing this years prom. Everyone had a great time. I have a big picture of everyone that I am going to try to get scanned in and posted.

Organ Stop Pizza

May 29th, 2009 . by Mrs. Polakoff

Unfortunately, I didn’t have my camera on that day. It was a lot of fun. The pizza was good, but the music was fantastic. Everyone loved the bubbles floating from the ceiling while he played “Under The Sea.” We are hoping to make this a great tradition.

May 3rd, 2009 . by Mrs. Polakoff

The school took a trip to the Sonoran Desert Park outside of Tucson. It was a quick trip, but a change was as good as a rest. It was a pleasant day.

Spring Concert and Spring Break

We had a great Spring concert. Unfortunately, I do not have pictures from it. I hope that everyone had a great Spring Break. I went to Utah and then tore up my front yard. Next week, we are taking the AIMS test. I hope that everyone has a great week and look forward to getting back to work.

COLONIAL BALL

February 23rd, 2009 . by Mrs. Polakoff

We had a great time preparing for the Colonial Ball. We practiced the Virginia Reel and the waltz. Those of the students who came to the ball had a great time. We will continue to practice dancing for the Etiquette lunch.

Shen Hong Yuan “Harry”

February 5th, 2009 . by Mrs. Polakoff

We were so lucky to have “Harry” join our class. Harry is from Bejing, China. He was here for 10 days. It is hard to believe that he went home on January 28th. He has a great sense of humor and we miss him. It was a great learning experience for everyone and we learned to appreciate China.

February 5th, 2009 . by Mrs. Polakoff

In January, we went up to South Mountain on our school hike. It was such a beautiful day. We had a great time and we got everyone up the mountain and back down, safely.
